ABOUT

In 1985, the Thrash Metal band Terminator was born in Goiânia, as the embryo of what would become Krakkenspit. In 2016, drummer Márcio Cruvinel takes over as vocalist with his songwriting partner, guitarist Aldo Guilherme, the band recruits another friend from adolescence to play bass, Julian Stella, and the drumsticks are handed over to Ítalo Brunno for the release of the 2017 Demo “Fear My Name”. The work marked the band’s debut in the Heavy Metal scene in Brazil.

In the sequence, the band continued without rest in composition work and several shows, now with the talented Bruno Dias on drums. In 2020 are part of the tribute “Go No Faith”, in honor of the band Faith No More, with a very heavy version of “From Out Of Nowhere”. With hand-picked team, studio, equipment, timbres, mix and mastering, in mid-2022 the band starts recording new material and in March 2023 the band presents the EP “Krakkenspit I”.

So began the professional journey of Krakkenspit.

The technical and musical quality of the work was unanimous in the various articles and reviews carried out by heavy music sites. The three songs on the EP – “Lava Pit”, “Fear My Name” and “Charon's Obol” – bring a rare technical care and an intriguing sound identity of the band on its way to become one of the great names of the Heavy Metal scene in Brazil . Asked about which label the band's style would fit in, the answer is simple: METAL.

Krakkenspit I is the first of a series of three EPs that will pave the band's arrival at the Show Business, not of their hometown, not of their country, but of the World.
